Few people are aware of this embarrassing story of our 27th president, William Howard Taft. By weight, our heaviest president, he struggled with this problem his entire life. As president, his weight was 332 pounds. He had grown so bulky that during his presidency he actually got stuck in the White House bathtub! The problem was so bad that a new oversized model had to be installed for his use.
