Near Mint Condition Superman Comic Books- 20 different


 
The fictional superhero, Superman, was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, high school students living in Cleveland, Ohio in 1933. Together,they sold Superman to detective Comics,(the future DC Comics) in 1938. Superman soon became an American icon in comic book print as well as a radio serial program, newspaper comic strip and eventually popular on television, films and video games. Over the years, Superman became known also as the “Man of Steel”, the “Man of Tomorrow”
and the “Last Son of Krypton”. The Superman story started was his birth as Kal-El on the planet Krypton, and he being sent to Earth as an infant moments before planet Krypton’s destruction.
Discovered and raised by a Kansas farmer and his wife, he displayed superhuman abilities even as a small child and as he matured, he vowed to use his powers for the benefit of humanity. He used the secret identity of journalist Clark Kent, but had the
ability to switch into his blue Superman suit with a red and yellow “S” emblem on the chest at any given moment in order to fight crime. We offer a set of 20 different near mint condition comic books, published during the 1990’s. Supplies are limited.
